Wolkensdoerfer Log Home Open House - On Saturday, May 3rd from 1pm - 4pm the log house located in Cross Park will be open to explore, learn about and better understand this local treasure. Paul Roose, Events and Education Coordinator for the Frankenmuth Historical Association, will be on hand to give tours of the house and outbuildings, demonstrate old tools, equipment and toys, and answer any questions you may have. The Wolkensdoerfer Celebrates Log Cabin Day in Michigan - Sunday June 29th from 1pm - 4pm - Stop into the Wolkensdoerfer log house located at Cross Park to participate in some pioneer crafts and activities, play some pioneer games and toys, and learn about pioneer life. Celebrated on the last Sunday in June, Log Cabin Day showcases over 100 log homes throughout the state of Michigan. This event is free. Hosted on the first Friday of November each year, our Annual Auction is our largest fundraiser of the year and goes directly towards supporting our educational programs and exhibit expansions!
