Friday Fun Nights

Join us for Friday Fun Nights in front of the Museum!  Here's what we have in store for you.

Fri. June 12 - 6pm-9pm

Flag Fun
Head down to the Frankenmuth Historical front sidewalk to have some flag fun. Learn about Flag Day, facts about our flag and try your hand at some flag trivia. How well do you know flags? The program is free, but donations/tips are appreciated and go to support the educational programming of the Frankenmuth Historical Association.

Native American Historical Interpreter
Stop by the  Frankenmuth Historical front sidewalk to see Native American historical interpreter, “Nodin” and his Native American goods. He is a member of the Turtle Clan of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and will be on hand to answer questions and bring history alive. The program is free, but donations/tips are appreciated.

French Voyageur
Join French Voyageur Jean-Paul LeFranc on the front sidewalk of the Frankenmuth Historical Museum as he shares about life on the water, shows some voyageur goods and has some animal furs and skins to touch.  The program is free, but donations/tips are appreciated and go to support the educational programming of the Frankenmuth Historical Association.

Special Events

In honor of America’s 250th, this history-related day camp will be mornings filled with hands-on projects, activities, games and learning. Campers will be making a special tin punch, creating their own “old time” document, hand-dipping a candle, participating in some historical games and more as they experience being a kid in the “olden days”.

​Hosted on the first Friday of November each year, our Annual Auction is our largest fundraiser of the year and goes directly towards supporting our educational programs and exhibit expansions!
