The Frankenmuth Historical Association

The FHA is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization located in downtown Frankenmuth. The Association includes an 11 gallery museum, the ​Wolkensdörfer Log House, and Fischer Hall. The Association collects and exhibits artifacts from the history of the Franconian colonies, in addition to offering education programs, events, tours, digital learning, lectures, venue rentals, and more!

Museum

Log House

The ​Wolkensdörfer Log House is one of the oldest historic log houses of its kind in the country. The FHA offers programs and events at the log house. Learn more HERE. 

Fischer Hall

Fischer Hall is attached to the museum and is open for rent! The large hall includes a full stage and lighting, chairs and tables, sound system, and kitchenette. Learn more HERE. 

The mission of the Frankenmuth Historical Association is to preserve, communicate, and celebrate the heritage of the Franconian communities and to promote a greater appreciation for local, regional, national and world history among the residents of and visitors to Frankenmuth.
